We have added a few new items to help support farmers and provide out customers with real food from real sources.
In 2001, we began harvesting maple sap from trees at our homes in Connecticut and Vermont. We did this because we love maple syrup, and wanted our kids to develop healthy connections with nature. Looking for more meaningful careers in 2014, we established Maple Craft Foods in Sandy Hook, CT to make people smile, and to develop healthier connections with food, nature and with each other.
Located in the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Laurel Mountains, Bumbleberry Farms began with the mission to Spread a Little Sweetness by creating innovative, inspiring artisan products that bring good health and joy the way nature intended. The company bottles delicious honeys and crafts their innovative honey cream spreads in small artisan batches using whole, natural ingredients primarily found locally. All honey bottled by Bumbleberry Farms is True Source Certified(R), ensuring that the honey is ethically sourced in a transparent and traceable manner from known beekeepers to your shop. Bumbleberry Farms is a woman-owned operation led by founder and beekeeper Karen Mosholder, who hires area moms to work in all areas of production. The company helps support a youth mentoring and leadership development organization. At Bumbleberry, we believe in the Power of Small, from our bees to our team to our retail partners. Individually, we may be small, but together we are a mighty force for good.
At Landcrafted Food, our cattle are born and raised in the mountain pastures surrounding Grayson County, Virginia. We are on a mission to bring economic sustainability back to family farmers in our region, through the development and distribution of quality foods. Here are the essential features and benefits of our beef: ► 100% grass-fed (no-grain feeding or animal by-products) ► Traceable to the farm ► Humane certifications by Global Animal Partnership ► No antibiotics or hormones ► Lower in saturated fat and cholesterol ► Higher in Omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acids and antioxidants
